SureMove Property Lawyers is a controller under the General Data Protection Regulations.  We will only collect information that is relevant to your transaction. The grounds on which we obtain and process your data are

We will only use your information for the provision of our legal services. This may also include administrating any accounts, processing card details, prevention and detection of fraud and marketing.

Under our code of conduct there are very strict rules about who we can share your data with this will normally be limited to other entities who are necessary for the performance of our contract with you.  This may include

You have a series of rights under the GDPR including the right to access the information we hold about you.  If you are unhappy about how we are using your information please contact a director.  If you have an unresolved complaint then you can contact the ICO (www.ico.org.uk)

SureMove are regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) - the statutory regulatory body governing Licensed Conveyancers in England and Wales. To be licensed we have to achieve the following:

• Qualifications above degree level
• Professional Indemnity up to £2,000,000
• Regular audits and inspections by the CLC
